They are not made for correct navigation, you always have to use correct marinecharts!</strong> <strong> This CD-Rom should give you impressions, tips and infos about harbours, bays and beaches of the Dodecanese Islands</strong> </font> </p> <p> <strong> The CD-Rom is written in Internet-format, making it very easy to handle</strong> <font size="3"> <strong> . The Islandsare splitted in 2 charts, each one splitted again in areas and in every area you find harbours and bays, also splitted in several charts. </strong> </font> </p> <p> <font size="3"> <strong> Basically there are the following rules:</strong> </font> </p> <p> <font size="3"> <strong> <img src="../../00/c12.gif" align="left" hspace="4" width="50" height="50"> </strong> </font> <font size="3"> <strong> </strong> All following maps are marked in areas where the colours have been changed as follows: <br> <em> <strong> yellow</strong> </em> <em> </em> instead of <em> </em> <em> <strong> green</strong> </em> <em> </em> for the country <br> <em> <strong> light blue</strong> </em> <em> </em> instead of <em> <strong> darkblue</strong> </em> <em> </em> for the water </font> </p> <p> <font size="3"> <strong> <img src="../../00/002.gif" align="left" hspace="4" width="110" height="50"> </strong> </font> <font size="3"> <strong> </strong> There are white arrows, showing onto groups of pictures or on rows of single pictures, shown in small form as an overview. After you have clicked on the wanted pictures, you will see them in the big size. </font> </p> <p> <img src="../../00/001.gif" align="left" hspace="4" width="50" height="50"> These arrows basically show single pictures and the direction of the arrows is nearly similar to the real direction of view onto the special picture.</p> <p> <font size="4"> <strong> PICTURES <br> </strong> </font> <font size="3"> Mainly the pictures are available for a screen resolution of 640/480, but of course there is also a high amount of pictures with higher resolution. Some vertical pictures don´t fit in the normal screen. In that case, the pictures are divided in normal and high-resolutioned reprentations, which you may choose with the following symbols: <br> <img src="../../00/800.gif" align="left" hspace="0" width="32" height="32"> </font> <font size="3"> for screen resolution 800/600 </font> or more <br> <font size="3"> and <br> <img src="../../00/full.gif" align="left" hspace="0" width="32" height="32"> </font> <font size="3"> for full size, in that case you can move in the picture, using the scroll making it possible to look on details. </font> </p> <p> <font size="4"> <strong> LINKS, means, references to pictures or texts.</strong> </font> </p> <p> All infos to pictures, groups of pictures or texts (in the text) are specially marked, normally blue and underlined, depending on type and adjustment of the browser. Click onto the texts to get the wanted information. If the wanted point is available, a little hand appears. </p> <p> <font size="4"> <strong> GENERALITIES</strong> </font> </p> <p> <strong> The CD-Rom is written in Internet-format, making it very easy to handle. The more than 3200 colourpictures of the originalversion should give you an impression of what you can expect, travelling to the Dodecanese Islands.
